Agya Koo should shoot a movie and cast himself if he’s peerless – Kumawood producer

Popular Kumawood actor Agya Koo born Alex Kofi Adu not long ago at the lunch of Agya Koo 2CTV asserted that no one in the movie industry is his competition. In simple terms he’s peerless taking into consideration his ‘unprecedented’ feat in the industry.

Interestingly, a movie producer named Michael Afrane has rubbished Agya Koo’s perception that he’s peerless. To him, if Agya Koo's is peerless, he should go ahead and shoot a movie with himself being the only cast.

“What is he talking about…peerless in terms of the comedy or local movie industry? If he trusts he is good then he should shoot a movie all alone and see if people will patronize it. He met other stars in the industry when he was nobody and I think the best he can do is humble himself”, he advised in a telephone interview with Seancitygh.com

The movie producer disagreed with claims that Agya Koo is second to none especially in the sphere of Kumawood. He added that; “If you cast Agya Koo alone in a movie will you get any patronage? He leans on the support of others to break barriers. He should also be reminded that he succeeded from others”

Micheal Afrane appealed to emerging stars to be humble if they want their careers to last in the industry indicating that it is one of the things that Agya Koo failed to do which is now haunting him.
