Brong Ahafo NPP Women Organisers endorse Kate Gyamfua's candidature

The Brong Ahafo Women's Wing of the New Patriotic Party have declared their support for Madam Kate Gyamfua, a National Women’s Organizer candidate of the party.

This is coming in the same week that a similar declaration was made by their counterparts in the Western Region.

The Women's Wing of the party in the region, led by Mrs Dorothy Ama Amponsah, the regional Women’s Organizer made the public endorsement when Kate Gyamfua and her campaign team took their campaign to the Brong Ahafo region.

Declaring, Madam Ama Amponsah, the Regional Women’s Organiser of the party stated that they have decided as a group to come together and make the declaration due to Kate Gyamfua’s loyalty, commitment and mother for all trait in her towards the NPP.

They further stated that reasons for their stance include but are not limited to the fact that “Kate Gyamfua’s support towards the party in terms of provision of resources from polling station to national level most especially during the general election in 2016 which gave us victory” was exceptional, adding that, “she has empowered we the women to be resourceful and financially independent and has exhibited her mother for all traits for all to see.”

“The experience she has acquired from polling station to the National level to become a former Deputy National Women Organizer is even enough to handle the main position effectively.” They said.

They added that they believe in her vision for the party and hope her vision will give the party power in 2020 and beyond if she is voted for as the national women’s organizer of the party.
