The NDC former Member of Parliament for Adenta, Kojo Adu-Asare has slammed the incumbent Member of Parliament for Adenta, Yaw Buaben Asamoah accusing him of doing very little to develop the area.

According to him, the MP’s additional job as the Director of Communications for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has left him preoccupied with party matter to the detriment of the good people of Adenta.

The NPP in September 2018 appointed the Lawyer cum politician to run the Communications wing of the party for the next four years. The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced the appointment of deputy national officers and directors, to help run the affairs of the party for the next four years.

He has been active and efficient in his job as the mouthpiece of the NPP making the party’s stance of national matter known to the citizenry.

But Hon. Kojo Adu Asare who’s very dissatisfied with the performance of the MP in relation to developing Adenta has urged the constituents to vote him out of power as they cannot continue to suffer while he does his party job.

“Buaben Asamoah has gone to take on party job while people of Adenta are suffering because development has stalled. You have a constituency to deal with then you go and taken on additional party responsibility. Doing communications is not a small job, it’s a whole portfolio for somebody to do full time. You’re a Member of Parliament, there’s job for you to do in Parliament and you still go on to take up party job and you expect to be effective in your constituency, you cannot be.”
