Female Personality of the Year 2012 goes to Joselyn Dumas

Talk Show host Joselyn Dumas has been adjudged the Female Personality of the Year 2012 by 4Syte TV.

Joselyn, who co-hosts The One Show on Viasat1, and also doubles as an actress, was given the nod for her achievements last year. Among them was her role in Adam’s Apples, a movie produced and directed by Shirley Frimpong-Manso of Sparrow Productions.

Joselyn was also acknowledged for her input in the success of The One Show, and for emerging Face of Range Rover Evoque.

Music duo R2Bees was also named the best artiste of 2012, following a successful year. Although not out with an album yet, R2Bees has released hit after hit singles, including Ajei, which featured Sarkodie and Nana Boroo; and then later released ‘Life’ aka Walahi; and most recently Bayla Trap which also featured Sarkodie.

The Male Personality of the Year award went to comedian Funny Face. Male Achievement of the Year award was taken by Sarkodie, while Becca was named the Female Achievement of the Year award recipient. Dancehall songstress Kaaki was also given the nod for Female Music Award 2012, and DJ Mike Smith was the DJ of the Year – 2012.

In regards to the most viewed Ghanaian music on YouTube in 2012, Sarkodie came tops with his song Azonto Fiesta which features Kese and Appietus. Fuse ODJ’s Antenna came second, while EL’s Obuu Mo was third.
