Accra, June 2, GNA - No Time to Die, the award winning Ghanaian movie, would be among celebrated movies at the 20th Pan-African Film and Arts festival in Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America, from July 18-27.
The movie would be among the over 70 films from the United States, Africa, Europe, Caribbean, South Pacific, Latin America and Canada made by or about people of African descent. A document made available to the GNA said that No Time to Die, was the only Ghanaian movie featuring in this prestigious annual film festival.
The Pan African Film Festival is an annual event, organized by The National Black Arts Festival (NBAF), a non-profit cultural institution based in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Festival aims at celebrating the contributions of people of African descent and their impact on world cultures. It also seeks to engage, cultivate and educate diverse audiences about the arts and culture of the African Diaspora and provide opportunities for artistic and creative expression. Mr. King Ampaw, writer and producer of the Movie, said he felt honoured to be part of this festival.
"It serves as a great platform to lift high the flag and image of Ghana. I look forward to a time when not only one but a lot of Ghanaian movie writers, producers and directors will be called to premier their works in the festival," he added.
No time to Die has so far been premiered in over 20 international festivals in different countries, including the United Kingdom, Hollywood in the U.S and Spain, where David Dontoh, the main actor of the movie, won the Best International Actor Award. The movie had also been premiered nine times in Germany.
