Beasts Of No Nation movie after its release in October 2015 has swept many awards. The American war drama film written, shot, and directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga has opened many doors for its lead actor, Abraham Attah, a 15 year old Ashaiman boy.

Attah after the movie shot in Ghana hit cinemas has won several international awards including Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead, Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor award-winner. He also made history on February 28 this year when he became the first Ghana to present an award at the Oscars.

Kobina Amissah-Sam, who played the role of Agu’s (Abraham Attah) dad has confessed that he is jealous of the young boy. Speaking to Mzgee in an interview, he said that he is happy for the success Abraham Attah has achieved so far. He added that he would be happy to also enjoy the benefit the young actor is enjoying now but “it can only be a wish”.

“It is his time so we have to support him to achieve that. I’m not going to pretend that if I get the opportunity to go there I won’t like it. If they call me today to come there for interviews I will go but it is his time we are supporting him.

When he comes I pick him up, we go around town if we have to. We still have a very good relationship”, he told Hitz FM’s Mzgee.

Kobina Amissah-Sam quickly added, “of course, there is a little bit jealousy in there. We are human beings and you don’t have to pretend. If I get the opportunity, Ill be there and be on the red carpet”.

Zionfelix.net reported that Abraham Attah has landed a new role in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ expected to be released in July 2017.
