I was disappointed Medikal lost at the VGMAs – Delay

Controversial presenter Delay says she was disappointed that Rapper Medikal did not win any awards at the just-ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Expressing her dissatisfaction on the Delay Show, she told Medikal: “I was disappointed that you didn’t win anything on the night. I felt you worked hard the year under review, so at least you should have been crowned the New Artiste of the year ” she said

Medikal, who was nominated in Afropop Song of the Year, Hiphop Song of the Year, Hiplife/HipHop Artiste of the Year, Best Rapper of the Year, Best Collaboration of the Year, Best New Artiste of the Year and Artiste of the Year categories could not clinch a single award.

A section of the public and media argued that at least, he should have been crowned New Artiste of the Year considering his works the year under review, but the rapper advised all to show respect to Fancy Gadam because he also deserves it.

Medikal is set to release his debut Album Disturbation on 7th of July, 2017. The Delay Show airs on GH One Television every Sunday at 6:00 am .
