The traditional marriage ceremony of the son of Ghana’s most prosperous media magnate, Osei Kwame Despite, has triggered a whole lot of chattering from Ghanaians.
One of such is controversial Ghanaian preacher, Nicholas Osei, alias Kumchacha who on the back of the recently held flamboyant wedding is daring politicians to a challenge by replicating a similar occasion.
The Ghanaian preacher in an interview on ‘Kofi TV Show’ said that no politician can ever have a wedding like the business mogul’s son had.
“Politicians are in possession of money but it is a problem for them to flaunt it. No politician, including former President, current president can ever have such a luxurious wedding,” he stated.
According to the self-acclaimed prophet, any government official who dares hold such a sophisticated wedding will, by all means, be voted out during elections.
“Any president who regulates such weddings in the country will be voted out after his four-term rule. Even Ministers and MPs, none can ever regulate similar wedding to that of Kennedy Osei’s”, he added.
He furthered that, investigations will be carried out on any government who go-ahead to have talk-of-town events.
Kumchacha stipulated that politicians who undertake the kind of ‘Kency wedding’ will be found wanting at the Supreme Court.
“I dare any Minister, MP or President to challenge this wedding. Former Presidents; J.J Rawlings, John Agyekum Kuffour, John Mahama nor current President Akufo-Addo can regulate such for their offspring,” he said.
