Controversial Nollywood/Ghallywood actor Kobby Acheampong is said to feature in Shadi H.Slim’s short film dubbed “6SHADES”. The short film also features Fella Makafui, one of Africa’s fast rising multi-talented actress who came into the scenes with her role “Serwaa” in the series “YOLO”.
6SHADES, a domestic violence film, tells the story of an innocent young girl who finds her love in a very violent young man who turns her into a punching bag.
Kobby Acheampong will be seen in the movie as “Bobi”, a very violent ghetto young man who goes to the Gym only to be back home to beat his girlfriend. Shadi H. Slim plays the role of “Malik”, a very cool guy who in the course of saving the young girl, lands himself in a death situation.
Fella Makafui holds the role of “Mimi”, the young girl who gets disowned by her parents because of her found love in the violent young man.
The short film “6SHADES” promises to take the audience by surprise as the film addresses and intends to curb the issues of domestic violence in our societies.
6SHADES also contains Strong Language, acts of Violence, Comedy, Suspense, which will get the audience glued to their screens and which is rated Parental Guidance (PG).
The movie will be shot on locations in the heart of Labadi, Accra-Ghana and will be directed by young film maker Shadi H. Slim.
WATCHmore media is scheduled to release the film in the first quarter of 2018 and it seeks to inform the audience to expect a new kind of film.
