The
Legendary highlife musician, Lucky Mensah who switched camp from the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) to join the leading opposition party, New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of this year’s general election has invited some big men in the party to attend his campaign tour launch slated for October 2.
The “Nkratuo” singer prior to the launch visited former president, John Agyakum Kufour to formally inform him about his plans to campaign for NPP and also invite him for the launch expected to happen at True Vine Hotel in Kumasi.
Zionfelix.net is reliably informed that aside the politician and statesman who served as President of Ghana from 2001 to 2009, the popular highlife musician has also invited the flag bearer of the party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Other personalities expected to grace the campaign launch are NPP Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, MPs, D.C.Es led by Maxwell Kofi Jumah, National Youth Organiser, Sammy Awuku and many others.
Lucky Mensah will officially outdoor his recently released song for the NPP, Ye Se Samu, at the campaign launch.
Artistes billed for the event happening this Sunday in Kumasi are A-Plus, Aseibu Amenfi and many others. Zionfelix.net is told the show will be hosted by Agya Koo, Matilda Asare and Lord Inusah.
