When the organisers of the Ghana Movie Awards (GMA) published the list of nominees for the various movie players scheduled to be rewarded on 30th December at the National Theatre, there was an obvious omission.
That omission was the Lydia Forson’s ‘Letter to Adam’ movie which was not in any of the categories. Rumours have since been rife about the plausible causes but 30 year old Lydia Forson has finally provided an answer which can let the matter rest.
Taking to facebook Miss Forson explained: “Hiya Everyone, I've received all your messages wondering why my movie "A Letter From Adam" didn't get any nominations for the Ghana Movie Awards. Thank you for your concern, but we weren't nominated simply because WE DIDNT SUBMIT THE MOVIE.
I do however wish all my colleagues who were nominated the best of luck.”
