Child actress Clara Benson well known as Maame Serwaa has urged Ghanaian youth to desist from illicit acts in the society.
The award-winning actress celebrating her 16th birthday at the Aphrodisiac Nite Club in Kumasi on Tuesday thanked her fans who were present at the event and asked them to refrain from drug abuse and teenage pregnancy.
“I appreciate the support from my fans. I will use this opportunity to advise the youth to stay away from drug abuse and teenage pregnancy.”
Maame Serwaa has featured in movies 'Who Killed Maame Serwaa', 'Maame Serwaa In Love', etc.
She has acted with celebrated personalities like Agya Koo, Kwadwo Nkansah LiWin, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Vivian Jill, Rose Mensah aka Kyeiwaa, Mercy Asiedu, Kwaku Manu, Bill Asamoah and others.
Some of the known faces present at her 16th birthday party included Christian Awuni, Tornado, Oboy Salinko, Yaw Dabo, Sunsum, Mohammed Faisel of TV3’s Ghana strongest, director Jackson K Bentum and many others.
