Medikal snubs Fella Makafui at 2019 VGMA as he omits her name in shout-outs

Ayekoo hitmaker Medikal has, for the first time, won at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

This time, he won two awards – Hiplife/ Hiphop Artiste of the Year, and then Rapper of the Year.

On all two occasions that he went on stage to pick his awards, Medikal mentioned names of people he dedicated the awards to.

YEN.com.gh heard him mention his parents, fans, and other musicians, but Fella’s name was omitted in the shout-out list, which could be disgraceful and disrespectful to Fella.

Medikal especially mentioned Criss Waddle, revealing that the awards had been possible because of Waddle, adding that “If not for Criss Waddle, I wouldn’t be here”, but again with Fella’s name missing.

Views were that he might have forgot to mention Fella's name when he took the first award out of tension or pressure.

However, Fella's name was missing again when he went on stage to collect his second award, making it conspicuous that Fella's name was deliberately being left out.

Medikal even took sometime to address the fracas between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, but still never mentioned Fella's name.

But Medikal performed all his songs including Ayekoo and Omo Ada, which he sang with Fella Makafui.



He also performed Too Risky, which he sang with Deborah Vanessa, his ex-girlfriend, before Fella Makafui snatched him.

YEN.com.gh also observed that Fella was not present at the event; she did not attend even though she had anticipated going to the show with her boyfriend Medikal.

Checks by YEN.com.gh also reveals that many hours after winning the awards, Fella Makafui has still not shared them to congratulate Medikal on her Instagram as she had done anytime he went on a show.

The above discussed points deepen the rumours that the relationship between the two is shaky and that all is not well with them.

According to information available to YEN.com.gh, Fella and Medikal have had a bad time lately, however, she feigns it with many posts about him on social media.

YEN.com.gh earlier published a report on how they were holding hands in a photo, but still, others believed Fella had shared that photo to dispel the rumours.

However, with her missing at the event, with Medikal not giving her a shout-out, and with her failure to share his awards on social media, there could be an iota of truth in the rumour.

Meanwhile, Makafui had earlier claimed to be pregnant for Medikal, after she shared a photo and wrote that the best feeling is having another life moving inside of you.

Medikal’s mother had also said Fella had not spoken with her for three months.
