The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosome Freho Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Joyce Adwoa Akoh Dei is in arms with her District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Yaw Danso over disbursement of Common Fund meant for developmental projects the area.

The lawmaker has accused the DCE of deliberately forestalling the release of her portion of the District Assembly Common Fund to complete some ongoing projects including a community centre which the youth in the district are yearning for.

"My DCE and some staff of the Assembly are deliberately refusing to release my share of the Common Fund to enable me start some projects and also complete old ones for reason best known to them", the MP alleged.

According to Hon. Joyce Adwoa Akoh Dei, the DCE is doing everything humanly possible to ensure the NPP government fails the people in the district under her watch as the representative of the people in parliament vowing to resist it.

"I am fed up with Hon. Yaw Danso for all his heinous political crimes to ensure I fail my people as MP in this constituency", she told constituents during a working to them

According Hon. Joyce Adwoa Arkoh, constituents including opinion leaders and chiefs in the area are also fed up with the DCE because of his behaviour towards them hence, the President must relieve him from the position as DCE immediately to save the face of NPP in the party come 2020 polls.

"The NPP party in the district is tearing apart because of Yaw Danso and some greedy people in the party. President Akufo-Addo must remove him now", the lawmaker observed hinting to petition President Akufo-Addo.
