Actress Nana Ama McBrown has refuted rumours of marital troubles with her husband.
Some news portals have alleged that the facial expression of her husband Maxwell Mensah when he accompanies her to events showed his disapproval of his wife’s public display of affection.
They also suggested that it was a strategy by the actress to hide her marital issues.
But in an interview with Hitz FM’s Noella Kharyne Yalley, Nana Ama McBrown, who was recently featured in the 20th issue of the Glitz Africa magazine, she said, “My husband is naturally the quiet type and he’s so sweet when we’re out of the crowd."
“I don’t tell him to go out with me before he gets up. He knows my schedule, he’s my manager and he knows that he has to support the wife.”
She added that “I don’t force anybody to do anything for me. First of all, I can do most of the things and I can do them on my own. But I am his wife, and he also has to see to it that I go and come back safely.”
“So if you want to look at the videos and judge him, it is your own case because we are so happy wherever we are. When you have it you flaunt it. He is my husband so whether he frowns or smiles, he continues to be my husband. We know ourselves and love ourselves so what do I care about what the people say,” the actress added.
