Ghanaian actress and comedian, Rosemond Brown, has revealed that veteran actress, Nana Ama McBrown ignored her on two occasions.
According to Rosemond, Nana Ama McBrown once refused to take a photo with her with the reason being that she wants to protect her brand.
In an interview that Rosemond granted Zion Felix, the actress revealed that some colleagues in the industry do not want to associate themselves with her.
She noted that some of her colleague actresses go to the extent of insulting her while others ignore her publicly as Nana Ama McBrown did during the Ghana Movie Awards.
"Nana Ama McBrown once refused to take a photo with me and told me straight to the face that she did not want to associate with me because it will stain her hard-earned brand," she stated.
Popularly called Akuapem Poloo, Rosemond disclosed that the statement made by Nana Ama worried her since Nana Ama is her idol.
"The industry is not easy. Most of the stars say I’m not good for their image. When a contract comes and I’m included, they refuse to work with me," she noted.
Rosemond Brown, however, noted that the snubs and hostile attitude by some fellow actresses are lessons to her.
She added that the hostile attitudes are not breaking her but rather making her strong and bold to face the troubles of the Ghanaian movie industry.
Recently, Counselor George Lutterodt in a video accused Rosemond Brown of bleaching and looking fairer than before.
In a comedy show that the two comedians participated, the controversial counselor noted that Rosemond Brown is his client.
