No Kumasi rapper is my favourite - Medikal

Kumasi, one of the largest metropolitan areas in Ashantiland has produced some of Ghana’s best rappers in the country.

Renowned persons from the Garden City who performs on rap music include Okyeame Kwame, Flowking Stone, Cabum, Kunta Kinta, Strongman, Ko-jo Cue and many others.

Despite these great artistes and many others who are known to be from Kumasi, AMG signed act, Medikal says he has no favourite rapper from the city.

He told Mzgee on Hitz FM that is his reason for not imitating any artiste from Oseikrom on his “Connect” song which had him rap like Sarkodie, Omar Sterling, Joey B, Criss Waddle, E.L, Kofi Kinaata and Yaa Pono.

He quickly added that BBnZ Live artiste, Ko-Jo Cue is his friend but he imitated only his favourite artistes on the “Connect” single.

Medikal got social media talking when he released his single “Connect” replicated all the highly acclaimed rappers, Sarkodie, E.L, Joey B, Kofi Kinaata, Criss Waddle, Omar Sterling and Yaa Pono.
