Our leaders only good at boozing and chasing girls - Godwin Bobobee

A member of the communications team of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region, Godwin Bobobee is accusing the leadership of the party in the region of directing their energies into chasing girls and excessive boozing to detriment of the progress of the party.

He alleged that the irresponsible conduct of party leaders had reached its crescendo, to the extent that many of them swim in affluence while party communicators who are supposed to work to better the fortunes of the party are languishing in abject poverty.

On Kumasi-based Silver FM, he expressed worry that some party leaders have parked cars in their various houses and are refusing to release them for party work.

”The leadership of our party are only interested in chasing girls and indiscriminate drinking meanwhile about 90 percent of our communicators are jobless. To be honest with you job issue has been very problematic for most of our communicators and that is really worrisome”.

“Recently there was an NPP communicator by name Nana Damoah who was always bashing President Mahama and the NDC party but now when you see him he is a CIPS custom officer meanwhile there are other NDC members who are very competent and qualified to be equally recruited for such jobs yet these guys are there doing nothing just because our party the (NDC) lacks structures. This God father act should be thrown away”.

”I have said this several times and will continue to say it that there are no structures in the party on a more serious note there should be a party structure so that when there are opportunities then you will know that this is the person who qualifies to do the job’’.
