Psalm 1 and friends concert tomorrow
Contemporary gospel artiste, Psalm 1, is staging yet another edition of his gospel, dance and rap concert dubbed the Psalm 1 and Friends Vimming Concert.
The concert will come off tomorrow, April 1, at the Youth Auditorium Action Chapel International on the Spintex Road.
Artistes expected to feature include Psalm 1, Cwesi Oteng, Kingzkid, Jaysmoke, Lil Zig, Regardless, Royal Priesthood, Worship in Motion among others.
The concert which is an annual event is meant to encourage, uplift and empower the youth to always trust in God.
The concert aims at teaching the youth to always place their trust in God and overcome the spirit of fear.
Psalm 1, real name, Samuel Kobina Koyire, told Showbiz he hopes the concert will inspire others to serve God with their God given talents.
“The concert will also provide a platform for young and upcoming artistes to show the world what they can do. Performances will come in the form of top-notch live music, poetry, spoken word, rap, acoustic, dance and choreography,” he said.
Psalm 1, a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is a rapper, a musician, poet and a spoken word artist, whose main aim is to spread the message of Jesus Christ which leads to salvation and also unearth talents, help them develop and encourage the youth to serve God.
Psalm 1 has performed at various educational institutions and events mainly targeted at the youth using rap, poetry and spoken word to reach out to his audience
