Today marks exactly seven years when the Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency in the Central Region, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong stated that former president John Dramani Mahama and some members of the NDC intimidated him, issuing threats against his life.

According to Mr. Agyapong, some people called his phone and sent him text messages to threaten his life right after the 2012 general elections in December.

He vowed to deal with any member of the NDC who tried to confront him.

The former MCE for Ejisu-Juabeng Municipal Assembly, Mr. Yamoah Ponkoh however disputed the claims, with explanations that the suggestions by the MP about being haunted by supporters of the NDC could not be true.

He urged Mr. Agyapong to desist from making comments that have the potential to destroy the peace of the country.
