General Superintendent of Apostolic Revival Ministries, Apostle Ben-Paul A. Gbedze, has called on Ghanaians to go into this year’s polls with their conscience and not with any external influence(s).

According to him, people should access the development drive of the country and let it inform their decision on December 7.

“We also use our heads in deciding who and which party we vote for and not vote based on sentiments and emotions as well as political/tribal lines,” he advised.

He said this in an exclusive interview with Today at the closing ceremony of a six-day 19th annual gathering of International Revival which started on Monday, August 22, 2016 at the church’s headquarters at Zenu-Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region.

According to him, for the country to continue to enjoy the peace of God, “we should do away with sentimentalism, tribalism and nepotism.”

“There will be no Ghana when we throw caution to the wind and allow sentimentalism and emotions to take the better part of us and destroy the peace we have,” Apostle Gbedze reiterated.

Speaking on the theme: That Ye May Bear Much Fruit,” he called on Christians to do their bid to meet government half-way to fast-track the development of the country.

Apostle Gbedze further admonished Christians to study the word of God so as to know His ways.

“It is not true that when one is in Christ he/she will not see sufferings. Suffering and hardships will surely come but for those who wait upon the Lord they will overcome it no matter how long it takes,” he said.

The six-day event brought together hundreds of Christian worshipers from all over the globe to encourage Christians to stand together as one family in Christ.
