The world woke up on Friday, September 6, 2019, to news of the death of Robert Mugabe, Zimbabwe’s first post-independence leader, who died at age 95.
Reacting to the death of the Former President, Ghanaian Actress Ama K Abebrese took to her twitter page to mourn him describing him as a very colourful leader
In the post sighted by MyNewsGh.com, the actress posted a picture of Mugabe with the caption: “#RIPRobertMugabe. I didn’t agree with him on many things but certainly a very colorful leader who did it his way.
“Africa must revert to what it was before the imperialists divided it. These are artificial divisions which we, in our pan-African concept, will seek to remove.”
Robert Mugabe died after battling ill-health, his family confirmed to the BBC. Mr Mugabe had been in hospital in Singapore since April 2019
