On Saturday, May 9, 2020 GhanaWeb made a publication which said that almost all workers of Y107.9FM have been laid off.
The report further stated that sources said the decision by the company to terminate the appointment of employees was informed by its inability to meet its financial obligations.
Global Media Alliance, mother company of Y107.9FM has described the publication as inaccurate and has brought its name into disrepute.
GhanaWeb apologises to Y107.9FM and its parent company Global Media Alliance for any inconvenience the publication may have caused.
