A ten-year-old girl has been found hanging in a room at Kwahu Nteso in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern region
The deceased – Ocansey Zepola popularly known as Ama Sakaa allegedly hanged herself with a headscarf tied to a wooden hanger in the room.
The incident occurred Tuesday, May 19, 2020, around 5:50 pm.
Grandmother of the deceased told Starr News that the deceased was asked to hawk some food items on behalf of her sick mother but complained of not feeling well hence could not go.
She said, the late Zepola went to bath and after that went into her room.
According to the Grandmother, the mother of the girl noticing her conspicuous absence in the house after some hours, went in search for her only to find her hanging dead in the room.
She said, the Police were informed and after taking inventories conveyed the body to Atibie Government Hospital Morgue.
Starr News has gathered that the deceased was very stubborn in the house hence always punished by her parents.
