The United Nations Association of the National Capital Area (UNANCA) in Collaboration with the Ghana Embassy in Washington DC will on October 22, this year, host the "Taste of Ghana” at the Chancery of the Embassy.

The ceremony is part of a week-long series of programs to celebrate the signing of the UN charter.

The celebration at the Embassy is also to provide the country the opportunity to continue to foster its strong ties with the UN and to provide a platform for Embassy as part of its initiatives to attract investors and to give the public the opportunity to learn more about the rich cultural heritage of the country.

Activities outlined for the week celebration also include a program at the Marie Reed School, foreign policy debates at various Universities in the metropolis and a grand celebration at the National Cathedral commemorating the life of Nobel Peace Prize winner, Ralph Bunche.

The celebration, which starts from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, will also offer the public the opportunity to taste samples of Ghanaian delicacies.
