The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has said no life was lost during the Wednesday rains.
Mr Evans Anakwa, the Director of NADMO in the Greater Accra Region said as far as the organisation is concerned, there have not been any deaths.
Some media houses reported some deaths as a result of the floods.
However, Mr Anakwa told Kwabena Prah Jnr (The Don) on the Ghana Yensom show on Accra 100.5FM on Thursday, 30 May 2019 that: “We are still going around monitoring the situation. As far as NADMO is concerned, nobody has died from the flood.
“We have not seen any lifeless body, so, we can’t be specific that a life has been lost.”
He, however, revealed that the rains have destroyed some property, especially within the Madina enclave.
