Mr Kwasi Adjei-Boateng, Incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for New Juaben North and Deputy Minister for Local Government and Rural Development has retained his seat after the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) primaries in the constituency.
He polled 299 votes to beat his only challenger, Dr Samson Kwesi Annor who polled 90 votes.
The total number of eligible voters was 392, out of which 389 voted.
In another development, incumbent MP, Frank Annoh-Domprey of Nsawam-Adoagyiri Constituency, the retained his seat with 428 votes to defeat his contender, Ms Afua Okyerewaa Nyantekyiwaa who polled 4 votes and Lawyer Adu Tutu who polled 164 votes.
