Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah could not hide his disappointment in the Video Assistant Review (VAR) after their 2-1 loss against Kasimpasa at their own backyard over the weekend.
The Turkish Super Lig has finally bounce back after a long break due to the coronavirus pandemic that wrecked the world.
However, the Black Stars midfield gem who played 76 minutes for his side saw his goal disallowed through VAR which subsequently led to their defeat.
Speaking to Don Summer of Angel FM in Kumasi, Acquah expressed displeasure in VAR for denying him a goal.
“I feel disappointed because since I joined the club I have not score a goal for them though I have made three assists. I was happy to have scored over weekend but it was unfortunate VAR ruled out that goal”
“It’s very worrying that I have still not score for my club but I’m still working hard to get some important goals for Yeni” he added.
