President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has dismissed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Youth Authority (NYA) Emmanuel Sin-nyet Asigri and his two deputies Mr. Richard Ebbah Obeng and Bright Acheampong.
The move follows a failure by the former to succumb to pressure from the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare to resign after a meeting last week Friday over allegations of procurement breaches.
A letter sighted by MyNewsGh.com reads in part “I regret to inform you that the President of the Republic has terminated your appointment,” Sports minister Isaac stated in the termination letter.
He added “Please ensure that you hand over and cease to act” not later than close of business on Wednesday, 4th September 2019.
Meanwhile, they have all been directed to hand over to Director of Technical Projects of the Authority, Emmanuel Anaman-Mensah.
