The leadership of the Concerned Voters Movement (CVM) has opined that ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas deserves commendation and not condemnation as some Ghanaians are doing.

Following Anas' latest exposé on corruption in Ghana's football which implicates the President of the Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has been raving and ranting about the character and the works of Anas and his team.

To Kennedy Agyapong, Anas is a "criminal, evil and an extortionist" using his victims to enrich himself.

He also accused the multiple award-winning investigative journalist of being very corrupt and amassing wealth and properties to increase his self-aggrandizement.

Kennedy Agyapong has sworn to end Anas' career, claiming he has concrete evidence to nail the investigative journalist.

But in a sharp defence, the group's Founder and President, Razak Kojo Opoku indicated that the group is very flabbergasted by the unsubstantiated allegations and 'useless' criticisms about the investigative work and private life of Anas.

He questioned the credibility of those criticizing Anas, daring them to provide credible evidence to discredit the work of Anas.

"Funny enough, those attacking and criticising the investigative methodology of Anas have been unable to provide us with credible alternative apart from blowing hot air and noise making", he opined.

"If you are not a mouse, fish or bush meat why must you be afraid of entrapment methodology of Anas?", he asked.

He stated that Anas deserves commendation and reward, and promised to rally behind him to fight corruption practices in the country.

"Anas deserves even more properties than he is having now considering his patriotic, selfless and solid contribution to the State as far as corruption fight is concerned".

'Useless' Adventure and Unproductive Exercise to Destroy Anas Aremeyaw Anas-------CVM

The leadership of Concerned Voters Movement(CVM) is very flabbergasted by the unsubstantiated allegations and useless criticisms about the investigative work and private life of Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

It is very important to state that, Anas Aremeyaw Anas is not an employee of Government and his investigative work is not sponsored by the Government or any Political Party.

He has also not requested that Government should give him contracts simply because he is using his resources to help the State in the fight against corruption.

Funny enough, those attacking and criticising the investigative methodology of Anas have been unable to provide us with credible alternative apart from blowing hot air and noise making.

If you are not a mouse, fish or bush meat why must you be afraid of entrapment methodology of Anas?

Ironically, Martin Amidu the special prosecutor appointment was ridiculed, lambasted and resisted by these same characters who now fighting Anas Aremeyaw Anas. Is it a real case of jealousy, envy or hatred?

Anas Aremeyaw Anas is a tried, tested and trusted investigative Journalist with worldwide recognition, and we don't think that reasonable Ghanaians would allow haters to destroy the credibility and integrity of Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

The brand and reputation of Anas Aremeyaw Anas is solid as a rock and no counter video/audio or distorted material evidence can destroy the trusted works of Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Anas deserves even more properties than he is having now considering his patriotic, selfless and solid contribution to the State as far as corruption fight is concerned.

CVM would only believe if Anas Aremeyaw Anas himself publicly unmask his face to Ghanaians certified by his wife, children, biological sister(s), father and siblings.

CVM will never accept and believe pictures or videos about Anas Aremeyaw Anas from a third party. Not even Kweku Baako can convince us on that.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas deserves commendation and not condemnation.

Amazingly, those attacking Anas Aremeyaw Anas have questionable integrity and credibility deficiencies.

... Signed...

Razak Kojo Opoku

(CVM Founder & President)
