Interested persons who want in-depth information about the operational activities of the various vigilante groups in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) should do so by writing a request letter to the party national secretary for full disclosure of their work, Deputy General Secretary Nana Obiri Boahen has directed.

“If you want information about the activities of Delta Force and Invincible Force you can write a letter and meet us at our party headquarters for better and further particulars”, Deputy General Secretary of NPP, Nana Obiri Boahen told the host of Ultimate FM’s morning show, Lantam Papanko.

Asked if these groups are recognized by the party leadership and their work they do for the party, he responded “Delta Force, Invincible Force and Kandahar boys are all members of the party” Nana Obiri Boahen confirmed

“But to tell the whole world that they are doing A, B, C will be improper and a security breach to divulge such information in the public domain”

He however strongly disagreed with those who have the view that the NPP government is endorsing the criminalities of these vigilante groups.

“The acting chairman has condemned their lawlessness. Did you hear it or you disbelief it.

The national executive committee of the party has condemned it. Did you hear it or disbelief it. The President himself has condemned it. Did you hear it or disbelief it. So why are you people not calling on the police to be proactive”

“With due respect people are not being fair with NPP as a political party when an individual takes the laws of this country into his or her hand you blame the party because the person belongs to NPP”, he observed

He stated that NPP as legal political party will never disband any splinter that will emanate from it and ever ready to welcome every group including that of “Mahama Boys”
