Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are set to appoint AshantiGold manager Kjetil Zachariassen as their new head coach, Footballmadeinghana.com understands.
This latest development comes following the brutal sacking of coach C.K Akunnor on Wednesday.
The 44-year-old was asked to step aside from his first team duties following a closed-door meeting with the management of the club.
Akunnor’s axing comes less than two weeks after guiding the club to victory in the NC Tier 1 Special Competition.
Coach Zachariassen previously handled Ivorian side AS Tanda and WAC of Abidjan.
