Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin is Member of Parliament for Nadowli-Kaleo
News reaching the Political Desk of Home radio 99.7fm indicates that the longest serving Member of Parliament Hon Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin will not be contesting the Nadowli- Kaleo seat.
So far about nine people have picked their nomination forms to contest the Nadowli Kaleo primaries. The process is expected to close today 12th July,2019.
Sources within the camp of the NDC also hints that the second Deputy Speaker is likely to be named as the campaign manager for John Dramani Mahama in the quest to recapture power from the NPP come 2020 general elections.
It is alleged that the camp of John Dramani Mahama has held discussions on this matter and many believe Rtd Hon Alban Bagbin is the right person to lead the NDC to victory come 2020.
It must be noted that the party is yet to make an official statement on the matter.
Alban Bagbin is the second deputy speaker of Ghana’s parliament and the longest serving MP for the Nadowli Kaleo Constituency of the Upper West Region.
