Ricky Nana Agyemang, manager of the late Ebony Reigns, has said he will no longer release songs of the late dancehall artiste that were not out before her sudden demise.

Ricky, who is popularly known as Bullet in the music circles, has stated in a press statement that since the father has been going about levelling allegations of exploitation against him, he is no longer going to deal with Ebony’s songs – not even the ones he wrote.

“With this, the label will not be releasing any songs from the 90s Bard Gyal. Rufftown Records owns 60% of Ebony’s unreleased songs, but we are giving away full ownership to her father Mr. Opoku Kwarteng,” the statement reads.

“All her unreleased songs that she wrote herself are owned by her father Nana Opoku Kwarteng. But the ones written by other songwriters still remain their intellectual property. If you wish to know more about when those songs will be coming out, please contact her father. We are grateful for the love and support you have shown Ruff Town Record. God bless you all abundantly,” the statement further stated.

After the demise of Ebony, there have been a number of disagreements between her father and her manager over managerial issues, among others.

The latest is Mr. Kwarteng labelling Bullet as a “cheat”, indicating that Bullet has robbed him of royalties and other things that were rightfully Ebony’s. He has also said Bullet doesn’t consult him on matters concerning Ebony.

Bullet didn’t take the new allegations lightly as he has decided to stay from anything that belongs to the late Ebony Reigns.
