Immediate past Black Stars head coach, James Kwasi Appiah has confirmed that he has received two months' salary areas from the five months owed him by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Kwasi Appiah has been in the news lately for demanding his 5 months’ unpaid salaries and bonuses from the Sports Ministry and the Ghana Football Association after exiting office in December 31, 2019.
However, the Sports Ministry has stated that they have made part payment of US$ 70,000 out of the $185,00.00 total amount to James Kwasi Appiah.
Kwasi Appiah in an interview with Ghsportsnews.com has confirmed to has received the said amount from the Ministry of Youth and Sports. “I have received two months’ arrears out of the five months owed me."
"I personally do not want to talk about this anymore, how do you owe someone five months and you pay only two months arrears,” Kwasi Appiah quizzed.
