The annual MTN FA Cup awards night has been moved from the scheduled date of December 9 to January 2018 as revealed by the FA Cup committee.
The much-awaited event was billed to come off on December 9,2017 in the Brong Ahafo region but has been moved to the first month of the New Year.
Dubbed as the Unmissable, this year’s MTN FA Cup saw massive improvement in the organizational structure with the then Tamale Sports Stadium playing host to the epic grand finale. A blistering hattrick from Saddick Adams earned Kumasi Asante Kotoko a deserved triumph over their feared nemesis, Accra Hearts Of Oak.
The annual award night, which is used to honour deserving personalities in the Cup season, was then scheduled to come off this December in the Brong Ahafo region. The Cup committee, however, confirmed that the new date for the award night has been moved to January 2018, with no specific date confirmed as yet.
Top scoring player, best referee, discovery of the year, and the overall best player are some of the categories destined to be honoured. The precise date is however yet to confirmed by the Cup Committee.
