Don't see the economic woes of today as blueprint of our tomorrow – Akufo-Addo
President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo through his social media account on Sunday, December 25, urged Ghanaians to continue to stay united and focus on the things that can help us construct the road of Ghana to a brighter future as such desist from seeing the economic hardship as blueprint of our future.
According to him, he is very much aware of the challenges that confronted Ghanaians this year and that should not be a stepping stone to cry agony embracing the New Year.
“I am aware of the many challenges that confronted Ghanaians this year. We should not see the economic difficulties of today as the blueprint of our tomorrow. There are brighter days ahead. We should continue to stay united and focus on the things that can help us construct the road to a brighter future…” he said.
“For my part, I am grateful to God for giving me the opportunity to serve Ghanaians in the coming years. I assure you that I am going to devote all my energies towards creating a free and prosperous society of opportunities, where every Ghanaian child, no matter the circumstances of their birth, has a fair chance to strive for a happy and dignified life, and where we can unleash the enterprise and creativity of our people so that we can build a progressive, prosperous Ghana whose citizens live in harmony and security…” he added respectively.
He further wished every Ghanaian a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year on behalf of his family.
