The founder and leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministry, Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha has waded into yet another controversy over the death of dancehall act, Ebony Reigns.

Speaking in an interview with SVTV’s Evans Amewugah, Kumchacha reveald that family members of the late artiste had sold her soul which led to the untimely demise of the singer.

He went on to reveal that the issue at hand was a spiritual matter but he was well-aware of the fact that something had happened in the spiritual realms.

The popular man of God also indicated that the black coffin used during the funeral of the late artiste was a ‘covenant’.

The pastor urged the show host not to push him to go deep into the matter. Citing why he was convinced about his claim, the pastor recounted some comments made by a lady from the family of late Ebony about how a strange wind blew for over 15 minutes in their family house in Sunyani.

According to the lady, the dust that came with the wind forced them to run and seek shelter indoors.

The pastor revealed it was a sign that Ebony Reigns, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng had been sold in the spiritual realm.

He added that sometimes, people were sold in the spiritual realm and they could be transformed into animals only to transform into humans after their deaths.

Kumchacha maintained that the award-winning act had been sold by her family members. Prophet Kumchacha is noted for his controversial utterances.

He is purported to have claimed he was the one behind the phasing out of popular song, ‘One Corner’.

Ebony died in a gory accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi road while returning to Accra from Sunyani.

Her childhood friend and PA, Franky Kuri and one air force official, Francis Atsu Vondee, who posed as a bodyguard also died in the car crash.
