Happy Sports can report that, Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku will lead the committee to interview and select the next Technical Director of the FA.
The committee is made up of the the GFA President Kurt Okraku, Vice-President Mark Addo and Executive Council member, Dr Tony Aubynn.
Our source at the FA indicates that six applicants have been shortlisted with interviews set to commence this week. The six applicants are made of three local coaches and three expatriate coaches.
The GFA is keen on appointing a qualified and experienced person to handle the Technical Directorate.
According to sources at the corridors of the football governing body, the committee intends to complete the interview within the week and submit a report to the Executive Council.
The Ghana FA will also send a report to FIFA on the person to be appointed
The Ghana Football Association has been directed by FIFA to appoint a Technical Director by the end of April, according to FA Spokesperson Henry Asante Twum.
