Astute football administrator and Ghana FA Executive Council member Mr. George Amoako has confirmed that he is in talks with King Faisal Babes over a possible return to the club.
The owner of King Faisal, Alhaji Karim Grusah revealed on Wednesday that talks with the immediate past CEO of Asante Kotoko SC is at the advanced stage.
Alhaji Grunsah wants to appoint Mr. Amoako to steer affairs of the Kumasi based side next season.
Mr. Amoako was recently dismissed by the Asante Kotoko after a new board was constituted.
Speaking to Oyerepa FM in Kumasi, Mr. Amoako disclosed he will be glad to work with another Ashanti based club although talks are yet to be concluded.
"Yes it’s true there are negotiations ongoing but not concluded yet. I will love to join another Ashanti team, don’t forget I have been there before and it looks like am tilted towards there but we are yet to firm it," Mr. Amoako said.
Mr. Amoako worked with King Faisal in 2003 when Herbert Mensah was charge of the club.
