Hearts of Oak back to winning ways following their weekend’s 3-0 loss at Berekum Chelsea.
The Phobians thrashed Wa All Stars 3-1 in Week 6 of the 2018 Ghana Premier League on Wednesday at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The Phobians shot into a two-goal lead in the first half – Selasie Bakai scored first on the 20th-minute mark.
Joseph Esso doubled the Phobians lead on the 35th minute from the spot after Daniel Kordie was brought down in the box.
On the 58th minute, Wa All Stars reduced the deficit thanks to Kingsley Osei’s spot kick.
All-Stars pushed for the equalizer but the Phobians prevented the away side from scoring.
On the 75th minute, Cosmos Dauda came from the bench to restore the Phobians’ two-goal lead with a neat finish.
The Phobians then defended their lead to win the game.
