MyNewsGh.com has obtained a tape recording of former National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Solomon Yaw Nkansah confessing about how he hired a machoman to give him a hefty slap at an NPP program in order to disrupt it.

Sammy Gyamfi’s predecessor was recorded while advising the youth wing of the NDC in Bolgatanga and a section of the NDC’s students wing TEIN.

According to him, the youth wing and TEIN must adopt some of the strategies he used in order to “creatively cause agitations in their various campuses in the country to make them popular but cause disaffection for the governing New Patriotic Party”.

Narrating his own strategy, he disclosed how he deliberately organised some NDC party youth to stage an attack on him mainly to cause violence at an NPP program in the Western region.

He disclosed that he hired a macho man by name Akasoba who hails from the Upper East region. He ordered the said Akasoba to give him a hefty slap at the NPP program when he signals him. Solomon Nkansah said upon receiving the “fake slap”, the way and manner he dramatised and rolled on the ground wailing uncontrollably succeeded in disrupting the NPP program and it made him popular.

“Me, when I was the regional youth organiser the NPP [they] came for a program. I called my boys and said please this program we have to use it. I said look pick a macho guy [the guy] is a Frafra guy, Akasoba. I said Akasoba do you know that you are the one who would slap me? He said boss how can I slap you and I said no, you will put [while demonstrating and clapping his hand to sound like a slap]. Everybody will know that you have slapped me then I’ll also start wailing then all of you will pour into the program,” Solomon Nkansah said.

“Look they brought 20 soldiers. Even the Regional Minister said but that Solo is he a wizard because he the Regional Minister saw that the guy didn’t slap me but I was on the ground wailing and rolling,” he narrated to a cheerful clap by his audience.
