Hon. Kennedy Osei Agyapong, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, has expressed yet again that Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, brother of former president Mahama, should be prosecuted.

According to the Assin legislator it was shameful for Mr. Ibrahim Mahama, who’s a businessman and also the proprietor of a construction company called Engineers and Planners, to issue 44 dud checks to the Ghana Revenue Authority.

The latest reports has it that following three visits to Economic and Organized Crime Office’s (EOCO) premises, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama has been asked to refund the state to the tune of GHC12.7 million by May 8th.

The aforementioned amount reportedly represents the total sum in import duties incurred by Mr. Mahama in the year 2015. Pay Attention: Get all the latest news on YEN.com.gh These terms were reportedly communicated to Mr. Mahama on Friday, April 21st, during a subsequent visit at EOCO’s premises.

Speaking on Asempa FM's Kwadwo Asare-Baffour Acheampong in relation to EOCO’s ultimatum to Mr. Mahama, Hon. Agyapong expressed that he would be greatly dismayed if former president Mahama’s younger sibling was not prosecuted, since he “short changed” the nation.
