Deputy Minister-designate for Youth and Sports Pius Enam Hadzide says he is happy President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has offered him the opportunity to serve the country in that portfolio.
Mr Hadzide has officially been named as a deputy to Isaac Asiamah pending vetting and approval from parliament on a date yet to be set.
He indicated that there are enormous challenges that confront the country at time of his appointment citing youth development and mobilization as well as sports development he observed remain essential tools for socio-economic development.
According to him, the youth are both the future leaders and present workforce of our country and therefore need to be properly groomed promising to assist, with all his heart.
