I never said OK FM sacked me - Afia Schwarzenegger

Controversial TV/Radio personality, Afia Schwarzenegger has come out to debunk rumour and allegations that she has been sacked by her employer, the Despite Group Of Companies.

Afia who is the host of Okay FM’s mid-morning show cleared the air about her job status.

There have been rumours on social media and several media platforms that her long absence on air is because she has been sacked by her employer after she had a fracas with NPP MP for Assin North, Kennedy Agyapong.

Also, she is reported to have revealed that certain people in the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) pushed the owners of Okay Fm to sack her.

But in an Instagram post on Thursday, she disclosed that she was in South Africa on medical leave. According to her, she will undergo surgery to correct a health condition she’s been suffering from for years.

Dear Schwaralewas

My attention has been drawn to lies speculating in the media that I have been fired by despite group of companies and am in some kind of pains…kindly treat it as u do to all irresponsible lazy fabricated stories.

As I informed yall thru my publicist I am on medical vacation…had to come for a couple of surgeries to fix a very old health condition.

I would like to thank my bosses Dr Osei Kwame Despite and Dr Ofori Sarpong for their support through this difficult times and also say a big thank you to my family and friends that has been there for me.

Thank you so much Fadda for always having my back

I will be returning to work very soon…Thank you all for your prayers and kind words

I would also use this opportunity to thank my fmr bosses at happy fm for their support when we 1st discovered my health issue…there’s no cause for alarm as you can see in my previous pictures that I am doing fabulously well and spending quality time with people I love…

A big thank you to Dr Charl Maria, Anel,Alta and everyone at Centurion Clinic….

A big thank you to my spiritual fathers…Jesus be too much for me and JM The president’s girlfriend will be coming home soon…
