'I want to make NPP an election wining machine' - Sammy Awuku

Aspiring National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who also doubles as the Board Chairman of Youth Employment Authority (YEA) has picked his nomination forms to contest for the position of the National organizer of the party.

Mr. Awuku picked the forms on Wednesday morning from the NPP headquarters at Asylum Down.

Having gone through the required processes, including making payment for the forms, Mrs Okudzeto gave Sammi Awuku the forms and wished him well in his campaign.

Speaking to a section of the media at the party headquarters Mr. Awuku said he will make the new patriotic party an election-winning machine to help maintain the party in power.

“I want to make NPP an election winning machine. Am determined to ensure that when it comes to mobilizing resources for the party structures , am going to play a key role to support party’s national officers, support presidents and our government to make sure that our party’s base and grassroots also get a life.

I will ensure that I coordinate the effort of all voluntary groups be it invisible forces, delta force, Kandahar, under the party’s operations to make them useful to the party.

The party’s base and the party’s structures are key role for every political party that is why I am coming to contest for the position of organizer to make sure that right things are done in good faith," he stated.

Apology

Sammy Awuku also rendered unqualified apology to multimedia journalist Ohemaa Sakyiwaa Ahwenepa and his colleagues in the media.

"Hajia is a friendly person, but am sure once in a while we all sometimes loss our guide, so we say we are sorry to the media.

We have been with you through the thick and thin.We brought the criminal liable law because we love you, what happened is not the character of our party, we say we are sorry," he added.
