The Harambee Stars head coach Sebastien Migne officially started preparations for the game against Ghana on Saturday 8th September with his first training session with the team on Monday 3rd September.
The coach, as posted on the official Football Kenya Federation Portal passed a positive review of the available players in camp saying they have depicted good fitness levels ahead of the serious business ahead.
He stated that they all expect a tough game from Ghana but added that he has full trust in his charges doing the job at hand.
“We have started off well. I’m happy with the players’ fitness levels and morale.
“We are working on getting ready for the match. Ghana will pose a tough challenge but I have trust in my players and I’m confident they will get a positive result,” he told the official site
The coach had 21 players in camp in the first session and the number is expected to grow on the second day of training.
Meanwhile, Kenya’s Victor Wanyama who is the nation’s football most prized possession but report from the head coach of the Harambee Star, Sebastien Migne indicates that the Tottenham’s central defender will not be available for selection over the weekend following a sustained injury.
