Former board and management member of Asante Kotoko Alhaji Lamini who continues to provide financial and logistic support for the team in a number of ways – says he’s impressed with the current team of the Porcupine Warriors but believes C.K Akonnor still needs a real playmaker to make a complete team.
Songne Yacouba, Naby Keita Laye, Emmanuel Gyamfi, Kwame Boahene, Maxwell Baako are some of the technically gifted players on the Kotoko team but according to Lamini the Confederation Cup campaigners still lack a true playmaker – a game orchestrator.
“I am really impressed by the team’s performance today. They are doing well. C.K is doing a fantastic job but I think the team still needs a ball juggler between the strikers and midfielders.” Alhaji Lamini said.
“They need that playmaker to serve the strikers well.” he added.
