Afia Pokua sits with her panelists to analyse the ongoing parliamentary primaries of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Delegates are voting to elect parliamentary candidates for 168 constituencies.
This exercise is the second phase after the first phase of the primaries came off in September 2019 in constituencies with no sitting Members of Parliament.
Already, some of the centres have recorded reported cases of abuse as some persons have been allegedly assaulted.
Ashanti Regional correspondent of Despite Media Group, Sampson k. Nyamekye has reported that voting was briefly disrupted at the Bantama Cultural Centre when an agent sought to prevent a delegate from casting his ballot.
The reporter, however, indicated that security personnel in the constituency were quick to resolve the situation which could have escalated allowing the treasurer to finally cast his ballot.
Meanwhile one of the aspirants in the Effiduase Asokore constituency, Lawyer Kwame Adom-Appiah, has been brutalized by some suspected military personnel, local media reports.
Join the livestream of the show and primaries below. Guests are Evans Nimako, Director of Elections of the NPP, and Prof. Ransford Gyampo, a Political Science lecturer.
