Happening now is the Defence Minister addressing the media on the agreement between the governments of the US and Ghana for enhanced security cooperation.
According to the Defence Minister, Dominic Nitiwul the agreement will contribute to enhanced security cooperation between the USA and Ghana.
According to the document, “United States Contractors shall not be liable to pay tax or similar charge assess within Ghana in connection with this agreement”. The US military is also authorised to control entry to the facilities meant for the exclusive use of their forces.
